An app built around a session

Sauna Metrics lets you time your sessions and record the temperature and how you feel. It is available for iPhone and Apple Watch. Its website introduces the features, and the App Store listing provides current download and compatibility information.

Why this subject matters to us

A useful tool starts with a specific moment. For our first app, that moment is the session: knowing where you are, recording what you want to keep and finding it again later.

This reflects how we work. We prefer a clearly defined task to an overly broad promise. The VeloceroLab website will also be a place to discuss those design choices and the details we refine over time.

iPhone and Apple Watch, two contexts

A screen you glance at on your wrist and one you hold in your hand are not read in the same way. That is a design question we care about: which information should be immediately visible, and what can you return to later?

The screenshots here and on our homepage offer a look at the app. For the details of available features, visit the Sauna Metrics website.

We do not quote a fixed price or version number here because those details can change. This post is a studio introduction, rather than an independent review or a medical guide.
